Great ambiance; professional staff...white glove service. Food was delicious except the lamb chops, ordered medium but it just did not taste good and I've had lamb chops from all over. Al through my check was over $1400 I will go back to Joe Muer.

Had an enjoyable time here celebrating my sisters' birthdays. The food was delicious and the service awesome. One dish was slightly overcooked but still enjoyable. Long forward to coming again

I would order their lobster tail again next time. It melts in your mouth and don't forget to dip it in the butter cause it tastes even better. They get really busy during dinner time so it took a while to wait for the food. But it's worth the wait

Wanted to have a nice dinner in downtown Detroit. This place was highly recommended to us by gentlemen at the cigar lounge. Fried Calamari was so tender and perfectly fried. I wish the sauce would have been a bit more on the spicy side. But overall was delicious. Lobster bisque was the best thing that I had at this restaurant. So creamy and full of seafood flavor. I would have ordered a second bowl if time would have allowed. Crab stuffed flounder was good. Not great. Crab was bland with some shell pieces in it. The flounder was cooked perfectly golden brown. The sauce was really good! Side dish was truffle fries. They were good just smaller shoestring cut. Carrot cake desert not pictures was amazing!" I took it to go. Icing was very creamy, and Candied walnuts were a nice topping. Location in the heart of downtown in the GM building was easy to get to. Right in the water! Nice view of our Canadian neighbors.. Parking is across the street in public parking garage.

I visited here for the first time over the weekend. The seafood we had was great!! We had 2 different kinds of raw oysters. I had the lobster bisque, which was very rich and yummy: Rich broth with butter poached lobster infused with sherry and crème I followed that with the crab stuffed Atlantic flounder, which was really delicious, too: Oven-roasted with whole grain mustard beurre blanc I really enjoyed the hit of nutmeg in the creamed spinach. We also got the sautéed mushroom blend to accompany our meal, too: Shitake, Button, and Beech with sliced garlic and zip sauce GF Overall, we had way too much food and had to take some home, but everything we had was so delicious, and I don't know what I would have skipped. I loved the view out the abundant windows as we ate. It's a really nice place for a celebration. While it's not my very favorite among the numerous options in Detroit, I really enjoyed myself and wouldn't be upset if we went back. Definitely worth a visit!!

Stopped in for a happy hour dinner at the bar. The bartenders were attentive and knowledgeable. While the spicy tuna tartare isn't on the happy hour menu, 10/10 recommend it. The coconut cake is what they are known for. It was a delicious bite but I kept wondering about the carrot cake. I opted to order that one instead it was divine.
